One Los Alamos announces the winners of the 2019 Diversity Week Art Contest. Children and Young Adults K-12 were asked to submit artwork celebrating what diversity means to them. Three winners were chosen from 34 creative entries. The fifth annual RoboRAVE Rally/NNM Science Showdown takes place Saturday in Española.
The event features more than 50 student robotics teams from across the region and a great range of hands-on STEM activities and demonstrations. The event promises to be a great day of seeing science in action, and is free and open to the public.

Los Alamos County is partnering with Los Alamos Public Schools to host LAHS Physical Education swimming curriculum at the Walkup Aquatic Center Monday through Friday, March 4 to March 21.
The main pool will be set-up short course for the duration of this program.
Students will learn Water Safety Skills including Reach, Throw, Don’t go; Community CPR, Learn-to-Swim and Conditioning.
