The Los Alamos County Clerk’s Office is asking property owners to re-enroll in Fraud Guard, a free online property fraud alert service, after a software issue may have left some initial sign-ups incomplete.
Homeowners who have not yet joined the program are also encouraged to do so.
Fraud Guard, launched in April 2023, notifies participants by email if a document bearing their name is recorded in the Clerk’s Office. County: Utility Field Work Underway For Broadband Project

Los Alamos County officials have announced that field work for Los Alamos County’s Community Broadband Network (CBN) has begun, as crews begin utility data collection to support the design of this County-led fiber-optic network.
The effort will continue through September and involves assessing planned aerial and underground routes throughout Los Alamos and White Rock, including on some private property.
