The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED), and pursuant to 20.2.73.300 NMAC – Emission Inventory Requirements, NMED requires that facilities submit an Air Emissions Inventory for calendar year 2023.

The emission inventory period began Jan. 1, 2023 through Dec. 31, and emissions reporting is due Jan. 1 through April 1, 2024.

The New Mexico Youth Conservation Corps Commission (NMYCCC) announces funding for 40 youth conservation and community programs in 2023.

Awards totaling $4.3 million will be distributed to a variety of urban and rural entities in nineteen counties. Each program is locally based, employing crews of at least five youth. Altogether, about 650 New Mexico youth ages 14-25 will be hired in the areas where they live.

Lincoln Historic Site (LHS) will host a lecture May 6 with Knutt Peterson, a Bureau of Land Management Cave Specialist.
