Santa Fe Botanical Garden Equinox Celebration Sept. 22

Through these programs, Northern New Mexico children and youth learn about the unique ecosystem and its challenges and discover the wonderful world of nature.
The community is invited to attend a festive fundraiser to support the Santa Fe Botanical Garden and its commitment to education and community service. The evening will feature live and silent auctions, signature cocktail by KGB Spirits, seated dinner, live music and more.

In 1955, a group of approximately 200 individuals from Zia Company, support contractors for the Los Alamos National Laboratory, organized and founded Zia Credit Union as a special interest group, a common practice for that time in the credit union movement. The contractors felt they needed their own financial institution. Management of the newly-founded Zia Credit Union chose to become a state-charted credit union. Read More

The Pajarito Astronomers will be holding a County-Sponsored Dark Night Saturday, Sept. 8 at Spirio Soccer Field, Overlook Park, starting at 7:30 p.m. (sunset).
Weather permitting, the public is invited to come out, wander among the telescopes, and star gaze. The planets Venus, Mars, Jupiter and its moons, Saturn and its rings, Neptune and Uranus will potentially be visible during the evening.
