PCA: Pajarito Mountain Land Transfer Concerns Are Easy To Resolve
Pajarito Conservation Alliance News:As many citizens are aware, the complete ownership of Pajarito Mountain is planned for transfer to a private company, Pajarito Recreation, LLC (PRLLC).
We emphasize that PCA strongly supports all the uses of the mountain, including specifically downhill skiing and mountain biking as well as hiking, running, cross-country skiing, etc. We are not opposed to a public-private

Omega Peace Institute Demolition Underway
The demolition of the Omega Peace Institute building next to the Black Hole began Monday on Arkansas Street. Giant Arachnids Take Over Atomic Science Museum … School Children Line Up For Chance To Handle Them

It sounds like the setting for the next Spiderman movie, but Chamisa Elementary School’s annual Science Night is even more fun than a radioactive spider bite!
The Bradbury Science Museum in Los Alamos will open its doors for Chamisa students and their families 6-7:30 p.m. today and admission is FREE.
A sample of this year’s highlights include:
- Wade Harrel from the Harrell House of Oddities in Santa Fe, who will bring his travelling collection of insects, spiders and all things creepy-crawly.
- Volunteers from The Wildlife Center of Espanola with their rescued birds of prey.
