In late 2014, Mueller had the luck of traveling to Antarctica to go ski mountaineering with a team of friends and a boatful of great people. It really was the trip of a lifetime, and is accessible to everybody. As his journey to this point started on a visit to France, he will be showing photos of skiing and climbing from Chamonix, Argentina and Antarctica.

Tickets go on sale today for the Backcountry Film Festival, made possible by the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) and the Reel Deal Theater. Produced by the Boise-based nonprofit Winter Wildlands Alliance, the touring Backcountry Film Festival will make its way to more than 100 locations around the world. WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz today announced Charles B. Curtis as the third recipient of the James R. Schlesinger Medal for Energy Security.
When the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) were established Oct. 1, 1977, Schlesinger and Curtis were appointed by President Carter as the first DOE Secretary and FERC Chairman, respectively.
