The state of New Mexico announced today the COVID-19 map with county risk designations applicable for the two-week period Dec 2-15 (link). New Mexico’s ‘Red to Green’ system consists of two gating criteria: (1) Average daily cases below 8 per 100,000 residents, and (2) test positivity rate below 5 percent. The ‘Red to Green’ has three risk designations: (a) RED, none of the gating criteria are met, (b) YELLOW, one gating criteria met, (c) GREEN, both gating criteria are met. The Los Alamos County Community Services Department announced this afternoon a number of County facilities will re-open.
With the new public health order issued Nov. 30, 2020, starting today, Dec. 2, the following facilities will re-open within New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s guidelines and criteria of “Red Level”.

New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) daily Rapid Response COVID-19 Watchlist as of Tuesday, includes New Mexico places of employment with two or more rapid responses in the last 14 days.
There are now 206 establishments on the Watchlist.
