SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials have announced today 169 additional positive tests for COVID-19.
No new cases are reported today for Los Alamos County, which remains at 6 cases.
Today’s update includes seven additional deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.
Per the New Mexico Department of Health, the most recent cases announced today include:
- 31 new cases in Bernalillo County
- 1 new case in Chaves County
- 3 new cases in Cibola County
- 6 new cases in Doña Ana County
- 1 new case in Guadalupe County
- 1 new case in Harding County
- 3 new cases in Lea County

Community Invited To Participate In COVID-19 Poster Contest

Los Alamos Museum of Art (LAMOA) and The Los Alamos Historical Society are sponsoring a COVID-19 Poster Contest.
The first-place winner will earn $300, second place will receive $150 and the third-place winner will earn $100.
There also will be a kids’ category for ages 5-14. They will have a chance to win $50.
Los Alamos and White Rock artists are invited to get creative with their digital and traditional media. Winning images will be made into posters for display in the local community.

County Manager Harry Burgess announced today the following facilities will remain closed until May 15 due to the recent order issued by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham:
