SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials announced this afternoon 153 additional positive tests for COVID-19.

Los Alamos County remains at 6 cases that have tested positive for COVID-19.

Today’s update includes six additional deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.

Per the New Mexico Department of Health, the most recent cases announced this afternoon include:

  • 44 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 5 new cases in Cibola County

Rio Arriba County Aids Navajo Nation With Beds & PPE

RAC News:

ESPAÑOLA — As the infection rates continue to rise at an alarming rate in the Navajo Nation, beds and equipment are being donated by Rio Arriba County to help with the response.

Fifteen beds and personal protective equipment (PPE) of 123 gowns and 60 3-D printed N95 masks are being transported to Rehoboth McKinley Hospital (RMCH) in Gallup, McKinley County.

Alfredo Montoya, the head of the County’s Emergency Operations Center, said the County is working to provide cloth masks and face shields as well.

All Together NM Fund Announces $550K In Food Grants

STATE News:

SANTA FE — A state COVID-19 relief fund started last month is awarding grants totaling $550,000 to address the surging demand for food assistance from unemployed New Mexicans.

The All Together NM Fund announced Friday that it has awarded $400,000 in grants to five food banks that serve communities – including tribal communities – across the state. Amounts were based on a formula used by the state to distribute food assistance.
