NMDOH: Petition To Add Opiate Disorder As Qualifying Condition

The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) has published the date for the next meeting of the Medical Cannabis Advisory Board. The advisory board will meet at 10 a.m. Friday, March 29, in the Harold Runnels Building Auditorium (on the first floor at 1190 S. St. Francis Dr. in Santa Fe).

The board is expected to review a petition at the March meeting to add Opiate Use Disorder as a qualifying condition for medical cannabis in New Mexico.

I thank the Post for running an article reminding people to get vaccinated against influenza (link).
 
It is also important to remind people to vaccinate their young on schedule against measles, especially since many people do not know how infectious and dangerous measles is.
 
In fact, measles is among the most infectious of all diseases. About 90 percent of unvaccinated people who are exposed to the virus will become infected. By contrast, the recommended two doses of measles vaccine are 97 percent effective in preventing infection.

With influenza (flu) activity remaining steady across New Mexico since the beginning of the year, the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) reminds New Mexicans that it’s not too late to get your flu shot.
