The Friends of Los Alamos County Libraries are hosting a bag sale Saturday and Sunday to benefit the organization’s numerous programs.

On Saturday, the sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Mesa Public Library and the sale will continue from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at the library. Bags can be purchased for $5 each and people can pick up as many books as will fit in the bags. The proceeds from the sale will go towards library programs including summer reading, author visits, movies, children’s story time and program and much more. The Friends of Los Alamos County Libraries is a non-profit, 501 (c)3 organization. It is completely supported by volunteers.
