The Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management Los Alamos Field Office (EM-LA) and Newport News Nuclear BWXT Los Alamos (N3B), the legacy cleanup contractor at Los Alamos National Laboratory, are scheduled to hold an Environmental Management Cleanup Forum to discuss recent legacy waste cleanup progress.

LANL To Hold Emergency-Preparedness Exercise Oct. 24
Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) has scheduled an emergency preparedness exercise beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24.
This exercise will last approximately three hours and test the preparedness of personnel who would respond in the case of an actual emergency.
Some elements of this exercise may be observable to the public, such as increased emergency vehicle traffic, workers in protective equipment performing simulated activities and “exercise in progress” signage.
