Pantex High Pressure Fire Loop Project Completed On Time, Under Budget
NNSA News:
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Work on the National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) High Pressure Fire Loop (HPFL) project at its Pantex Plant near Amarillo, Texas, was completed in December 2013 on schedule and more than $5 million under budget.
Completion of HPFL enhances the reliability of safety-class fire suppression systems to ensure that the Pantex Plant will be able to meet mission assignments in critical production areas. LANL Foundation Seeks Scholarship Applicants
LANL FOUNDATION News:
Northern New Mexico students aiming to pursue four-year college degrees are eligible for tuition help ranging from $1,000 to $30,000 from the Los Alamos Employees’ Scholarship Fund.
Scholarships will be announced in March for the next school year. The deadline for applications is Jan. 21.
The fund, which has awarded $3.7 million since 1998, is administered by the Los Alamos National Laboratory Foundation.
