Los Alamos STEM Challenge Spurs Student Creativity

LANL News:

In 2013, Los Alamos National Laboratory began a competition for students in grades six through 12 in northern New Mexico to help spur their creative thinking. As part of its ongoing STEM education efforts (where STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and math), the Lab will hold the event again in 2014.

The Los Alamos Stem Challenge is an opportunity for students to learn about the Laboratory and then use that knowledge to design an app, video, poster or essay to share their concepts of the future.

Students and instructors will have access to step-by-step instructions
