The Unitarian Church of Los Alamos is hosting its annual community seed swap.
The swap is 9 a.m. to noon, Sunday Feb. 7 and 14, at the church at 195 East Road, Suite 101.
Remember:
- Bring only packets of seeds you wish to give away entirely. You may not get any back!
- Take only enough seeds to use in one growing season.
- If you are sharing seeds you’ve saved from your garden, please mark them clearly with the name of the plant and the year from which they were saved.

The Watoto Children’s Choir traveling from Africa is thrilled to present a brand new choir production entitled “Oh What Love” at 6:30 p.m., Thursday at Crossroads Bible Church, 97 East Road in Los Alamos.
The group’s tour began in Norway in September of 2015 and traveled around Scandinavia for three months, before arriving in Phoenix, Ariz., Dec. 6, where they began a four month tour visiting several states throughout the West Costal region of the U.S.

Reading the story of Rachel and Leah’s competition for Jacob’s love, in the book of Genesis, is a lot like reading a Jerry Springer show in the making. It started when Jacob ended up marrying two sisters (Leah and Rachel), but really only loved Rachel.
