During those five decades, it’s been involved in 206 launches—only a few other organizations in the world can claim more—that began with the goal of helping monitor compliance with the 1963 Partial Test Ban Treaty through satellite observation.

LANB Makes Regulatory Agreement Changes

In November of 2012, Los Alamos National Bank signed a regulatory agreement with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Bank’s primary regulatory.
“LANB has been working toward compliance with the agreement and had made a great deal of progress since that time,” Bank President Steve Wells told the Los Alamos Daily Post.

Los Alamos Fire Capt. Wendy Servey has been awarded a scholarship from the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to attend the Tampa 2 Fire Safety Summit. The scholarship will provide Servey with conference registration fees, airfare, and lodging, so that she may attend the summit March 10-12 in Tampa, Fla.
