Today: The National Weather Service is forecasting that Los Alamos will experience rain and snow showers, becoming all snow after 11 a.m. today with a high near 37. Breezy conditions will continue with a south wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. Water Main Break on Trinity Drive Repaired

Eastbound traffic was reduced to one lane Wednesday on Trinity Drive in the vicinity of 37 Street following a water main break.
The break was reported around 8 p.m. Tuesday. In frigid temperatures, gas, water and sewer crews with the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities worked through the night and into the early morning to dig up the 12-inch line and complete repairs by 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, with no loss of water to residents.

NMOHVA Files Lawsuit Against Santa Fe National Forest Travel Management Decision
NMOHVA News:
The New Mexico Off Highway Vehicle Alliance (NMOHVA) filed a lawsuit against the Santa Fe National Forest Dec. 11 in Federal District Court.
The lawsuit contests the Forest’s Travel Management decision signed by Forest Supervisor Maria T. Garcia June 12 and upheld by the Region 3 Appeal Deciding Officer Oct. 2.
