East Road Lane Closure Changed to Friday
DPU News:
Due to weather, officials with the Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities have indicated that a lane closure scheduled to occur Thursday, Sept. 13 will now occur Friday, Sept 14.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m., the eastbound traffic lane on East Road near Los Alamos County Fire Station 6 and Tewa Loop will close.
Construction crews replacing a section of natural gas line along the south side of East Road will excavate into the closed lane to tie the new line into the gas distribution system.
No interruption of gas services is expected.

Los Alamos Police Det. Daniel Roberts is instructing a Cyber-Safety Class from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13.
The class is hosted by the Family Strengths Network and will be taught at its facility at 1900 Diamond Dr. in the Pueblo Complex.

The New Mexico Environment Department is investigating the source of an intestinal sickness that struck 27 Los Alamos Firefighters Saturday night.
The firefighters fell ill after eating a roast pork dinner provided to them by the Los Alamos Elks Lodge #2083 at 1601 Trinity Dr.
