By Rev. Glenn JonesOur community is unique in that so many people come from all over northern New Mexico to work here at LANL—from Chama to Belen and beyond. One of the things lacking in our community is a Christian-based school, which parents might opt to utilize should they feel moved to do so.
Not infrequently, parents—Catholic and not—have queried us as to whether we might one day start a school here at IHM for this purpose.

Internationally Acclaimed Alpha Course At IHM Tonight

The community is invited to join the fourth session of the internationally acclaimed Alpha Course at 7 p.m. today at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 3700 Canyon Road.
The course, which has attracted participants from Catholic and other Christian denominations over the past two years, addresses questions such as:

The Shop on the Corner Thrift Store has moved into new space at Trinity on the Hill Church at Canyon Road and Diamond Drive.
The Shop is now right next door to its previous space in the former Teen Center of the Church. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. until noon Wednesday for the grand opening of this new space and everything is half price during this special event.

I doubt that there are many people who argue with this Proverb. In general, we agree that hatred is bad and love is good. So why do we see so many acts of hatred, not just from terrorists or white supremacists, but from everyday people, including ourselves?
