Pastor Granillo: Rejoice!
By Pastor RAUL GRANILLO“Shout for joy, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O Israel! Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem!” Zephaniah 3:14 (NASB).
There are some days when rejoicing is the last thing we want to do. You know, the days when you find out your job is not as secure as you thought, or the days when you lose a loved one, or the days when you realize your child has chosen a very dangerous path.
It is hard to rejoice when people seem so divided, or when the enemy seems to be at the gate, or even when we are just worried about keeping our home. Yes, there Read More

Pastor Granillo: Love.
By Pastor RAUL GRANILLOIt can be frustrating to hear a Christian’s response to a tragedy to be only, “My prayers are with you.”
It can be frustrating because many do not believe in the power of prayer and so they feel as if no real help is being offered, and nothing else will be done. Prayer is important—it has the power to change the world; but it should never be an excuse for inaction.
James wrote, “Suppose a brother or sister is without Read More

By Pastor RAUL GRANILLOHope.
“Hope is a waking dream.” – Aristotle
“Hope” is one of those terms that we have romanticized and made very ambiguous. That may be the reason we often enjoy quotes like, “Hope is a waking dream.” After all it is mysterious, poetic, and speaks to hope as being something we imagine as possible; while at the same time accepting “hope” as something easily lost as we begin to awaken to reality.
For too many, the romantic notion of hope has left them cynical in a world where darkness pours into a lit restaurant, music hall, or even an elementary school. Hope seems to flee

By Pastor Raul Granillo“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light” (1 Peter 2:9).
Being a holy nation simply means being the people of God who seek a mature relationship with Him. The lack of holiness is why many people find that their relationship with God is as volatile as the typical marriage in America today. Any couple that wants to stay together for the long haul must quickly realize that marriage is not about lust, but about intentionally maturing Read More
