Registration for Senior Olympics Now Open
YMCA News:
Registration for the local Senior Olympics is open at The Family YMCA until Feb 28.
Participants must be a resident of Los Alamos County and 50 years of age or older by Dec. 31, 2013.
Local games are March 12 to April 12. The regisitration fee is $20 and payable to The Family YMCA.
Stop by the YMCA on Iris Street and 15th Street for a registration form and complete list of events and schedule.

For the 2012-13 school year, Media All Stars and All-American Sports Posters will be creating the media guides for Los Alamos High School.
These are the only companies who have the right to create the local media guides.

LAHS College Signing Date Changed
LAHS News:
Los Alamos High School athlete Zak Kennison’s signing a National Letter of Intent with Colorado Mesa University, in Grand Junction, Colo., is being changed to 11:25 a.m. Friday, instead of Wednesday.
Joining Kennison will be Sean Reardon who will sign with Adams State University.
Both young men are going on to participate in Cross Country and Track.
Los Alamos Athlete to Sign with Colorado Mesa University
LAHS News:
Wednesday, Feb. 6, Los Alamos High School athlete Zak Kennison will sign a National Letter of Intent with Colorado Mesa University, in Grand Junction, Colo.
The community is invited to join Kennison in the main lobby area at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday for his signing.
Kennison will be continuing to run cross country and track for Colorado Mesa University. They are a NCAA Division II college and compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
