The snowpack in Northern New Mexico is 47-percent of normal. The weather forecast for this coming week includes some much-needed snow.
The Arctic Blast last week appears to be over. Temperatures can still plunge well-below zero in some of our high mountain valleys.

Last weekend Los Alamos Atomic Tumblers travelled to Albuquerque to compete in the Defy Gravity Invitational.
Addison Lowe was LASG’s high scorer of the Day. Addison shined like only a star could on Saturday. She took all 5 of the Gold medals in her age division of Bronze competition with: a 37.05 in the all-around, a 9.50 on vault, a 9.45 on bars, a 9.05 on beam, and a 9.05 on floor. The snowpack in Northern New Mexico lost ground somewhat last week and now is 19-percent of normal. The weather forecast for this coming week includes some much-needed snow.
This week could see an Arctic blast thanks to the Polar Vortex plunging south. These cold blasts are no joke and temperatures can plunge well-below zero in some of our high mountain valleys.
