Save The Date: CROP Hunger Walk & Turkey Trot Nov. 24

Calling all walkers and runners in Los Alamos County and beyond! Save the date of Sunday, Nov. 24, when the annual Los Alamos CROP Hunger Walk and Turkey Trot will be held. The route will start and end in the parking lot in front of Los Alamos Middle School (on North Mesa). Participants will be entered in a drawing for turkeys and pies.
Runners and walkers will register in the school cafeteria, starting at 1:15 p.m. When the starting pistol goes off at 2 p.m., runners will lead off. They and the walkers can choose either a 1.7 or 2.57 mile course. The shorter course bypasses Read More

The Los Alamos High School (LAHS) Hilltopper Varsity Girls Soccer Team hosted the Taos Tigers on Wednesday at Sullivan Field for their first district game of the season.

Topper Boys Varsity Soccer Falls To Bosque Bobcats
The Boys Varsity Soccer team hosted the Bosque Bobcats Saturday afternoon on Sullivan Field. Both teams played a good, hard-fought game but the Bobcats found the net for 3 goals to win the non-conference match 3-1.
