On May 24, 2025, Jonathan Dowell of Los Alamos completed his 15th ride in the Iron Horse Bicycle Classic. This grueling ride from Durango to Silverton, Colo., is nominally 50 miles, climbing 6,000 vertical feet across Coal Bank and Molas Passes with two breathtaking descents.
