Horse Show to Benefit Los Alamos Pony Club

PONY CLUB News:

The Los Alamos Pony Club (LAPC) will host a dressage horse show and rally at the North Mesa Stables 9 a.m. Sunday. The community is invited to participate or watch the event, which supports the nonprofit youth athletic organization.

Sharleen Espinoza is New Head Girls Volleyball Coach at LAHS for 2014-15 School Year

The Los Alamos High School Athletic Department has hired Sharleen Espinoza for the Head Girls Volleyball Coach for the 2014-15 school year. 

Coach Espinoza has served as an assistant varsity and Junior Varsity Coach for Los Alamos High School, since 2011. She also is a club volleyball coach for a 12 and under group with Fusion Volleyball.

Espinoza is a 2006 graduate of Los Alamos High School. She is pursuing a B.S. in Physics through University of New Mexico.

Los Alamos School of Gymnastics wrapped up its Junior Olympic Boy’s Competitive season last weekend with the New Mexico Junior Olympic State Championships.

Mike Kluk Hired As Los Alamos High School Head Boys Basketball Coach

The Los Alamos High School Athletic Department has hired Mike Kluk for the Head Boys Basketball Coach for the 2014-15 school year. Kluk took over the program as the interim head coach in January.

He played college basketball at Odessa Jr. College in Odessa, Texas from 1978-1980. He has coached various sports and levels of sports since being at Los Alamos.
