The National Hispanic Cultural Center, Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce and the City of Albuquerque announce a series of events July 23 and 24 featuring Gustavo Arellano and Lalo Alcaraz.

Entitled “Gustavo Arellano and Lalo Alcaraz’s Two-Night Stand,” the series of events will all take place at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, beginning at 6 p.m., July 23 for “Adult Night at the National Hispanic Cultural Center Art Museum.”

Sections of the new Supplemental Ventilation System (SVS) arrived this week at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) in Carlsbad.
 
The SVS is designed to increase the total amount of air supplied to the underground. The fan assembly underwent factory acceptance testing last week and arrived at the WIPP facility early this week.
