Weekly Fishing Report: May 20, 2025

The past few weeks the State Game and Fish Department has been stocking some bigger-than-average trout at locations throughout Northern New Mexico. These fish will average 15-17 inches in size with some18-20 inchers in the mix.

NMDOT Closing Westbound Lane On Main Hill Today For Road Sealing Operation
COUNTY News:
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will close the westbound lane of N.M. 502 today beginning at approximately 10 a.m. to place asphalt sealant on the roadway.
A 3-mile flagging operation will be in place beginning east of the N.M. 4/N.M. 502 interchange at mile marker 7.0 and continue to mile marker 4.5 east of Camino Entrada.
The lane closure is expected to remain in effect until about 4 p.m. today.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and exercise caution when traveling through the area.
Westbound motorists may use the Truck Route to avoid delays.
