Forest Waives Day Use Fees in Honor of Veterans Day

SANTA FE — The Santa Fe National Forest is joining other Federal agencies in waiving its day use fees over Veterans Day weekend, Nov. 9-11. Members of the public, veterans, active members of the U.S. Armed Forces, and their families are invited to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather and enjoy the great outdoors.
No fees will be charged at Battleship Rock and Spanish Queen Picnic Areas on the Jemez Ranger District. The fee waiver does not apply to campgrounds.
