PLACE Makes Two Offers on Properties in Los Alamos

PLACE has made two separate offers on sites in downtown Los Alamos. Both site owners are considering the offers. 

PLACE is a nonprofit development organization that builds creative urban villages for cities.  PLACE plans to build an Urban Village project for Los Alamos. 

PLACE expects to enter into a single-source supplier of services agreement with the County once a site has been acquired.

A book signing for the Encyclopedia of Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico, written by Mark H. Cross is set for 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26 at Otowi Station in Los Alamos.

Cross also will be interviewed at 8:30 a.m. Thursday on KRSN 1490 AM.
