As the owner of Los Alamos Family Eyecare, Lisa Shin strives to treat her employees well and to serve the community. But she is also finding that lawmakers on the federal and state levels are creating a tough environment for her to run her business.

The liquor license notice is posted on the window and today is the last chance for readers to suggest a name for the new wine room coming to 145 Central Park Square in downtown Los Alamos this summer. Make-overs Transform Los Alamos Mothers and Daughters
