Udall Nominates Two Los Alamos Students to United States Service Academies

WASHINGTON, D.C., – U.S. Sen. Tom Udall has announced that 45 New Mexico students have received his nomination to attend a United States service academy beginning in 2014, including Matthew Davenport and Alexander Kirkland of Los Alamos.

Bob Fuselier, a veterinarian in Los Alamos, began working with Dr. Mohammad Khan Kharoti on educational projects in Afghanistan several years ago and traveled to the country in 2012. Science Cinema: Saturday Mornings at the Bradbury

The Bradbury Science Museum is proud to announce the launch of a new community video series.  Beginning in 2014, every Saturday at 10:30 a.m., a different science education film will be shown in the auditorium.  

The first showing will be Saturday, Jan. 4 featuring Bill Nye the Science Guy in Amphibians. In this 30-minute video, Bill explains how amphibians can live both on land and in water and demystifies the process of metamorphosis.
