SANTA FE — New Mexico households receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) food benefits will receive the maximum amount for their household size for the month of June as the state continues its response to the COVID-19 pandemic, announced the New Mexico Human Services Department (HSD).

EMNRD Encourages New Mexicans To Get Vaccinated

SANTA FE — In order for New Mexico to retire its “Red to Green” framework and fully reopen by July 1, 60 percent of eligible New Mexicans will need to complete their vaccine series by June 17.

New Mexico COVID-19 Update: 122 New Cases, Total 204,392 With Zero New Deaths And 192,475 Recovered 

STATE News:

SANTA FE – New Mexico Department of Health officials have announced 122 new COVID-19 cases  today.

Los Alamos County reports 1 new case today bringing the total to 535 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)

This update includes zero new deaths in New Mexico today related to COVID-19.

Leger Fernández Announces Tax Credit To Cover Paid Leave Cost For Small Businesses Extended Through September

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Teresa Leger Fernández announced Monday that the IRS will continue to provide tax credits to help local small businesses cover the costs of providing paid sick and family leave for workers through September.

Los Alamos Vaccine Clinic/$100 Gift Card Incentive June 16

COUNTY News:

Register at the Los Alamos COVID-19 vaccine clinic scheduled for this Wednesday and receive a $100 gift card.

For the next four days, the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) is running a vaccine incentive program to encourage New Mexico to reach its goal to fully vaccinate 60 percent of its population by June 17. 

The incentive is a $100 gift card for every eligible New Mexican who either receives a COVID-19 booster of Pfizer or Moderna or the single dose Janssen vaccine between Monday, June 14 and Thursday, June 17.
