Los Alamos County announced this morning that notifications for senior COVID-19 vaccinations have been sent to individuals to schedule their appointments.
Los Alamos County Social Services Department would like to share some clarifying instructions to avoid confusion and frustration when scheduling your appointment.
Clarifying Instructions:
- Do not check the box stating “Yes, I have an event code”; and
- Do not enter your unique code in the “Event Code” field.

The state of New Mexico updated its COVID-19 county map with risk designations applicable for the two-week period Jan. 27-Feb. 9. New Mexico’s ‘Red to Green’ framework includes two gating criteria: (1) Average daily cases below 8 per 100,000 residents, and (2) test positivity rate below 5 percent.
