County: Los Alamos Residents Encouraged To Verify DOH Vaccine Profile While Awaiting COVID Vaccine Appointments

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos residents who completed their vaccine registration profile on the New Mexico Department of Health (DOH) website should have received a six digit “confirmation code” via text or email to finish setting up their profile.

At the very beginning when DOH launched its registration site, a glitch in the system resulted in some people not receiving the necessary seven-digit code to complete the final step of registration.

Senior Centers Tapped For Vaccine Distribution Jan. 30-31

The Los Alamos Retired and Senior Organization (LARSO) announced this morning that the senior centers in Los Alamos and White Rock have been notified that they will serve as distribution hubs for the Jan. 30-31 COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic.

The New Mexico Aging & Long-Term Services Department has determined that ALL APPOINTMENTS, will be assigned through the Department of Health Registration Site at www.vaccinenm.org, or by calling 1-855-600-3453.

I am the operations manager at Oppenheimer Place Condominiums. This is a 55 and older community, but most of the residents are in their 70s and 80s. COVID has been a very stressful time for all of us. We certainly have been on a large learning curve with very fluid information.

Los Alamos Vaccine Clinic For Seniors 75+ Jan. 30-31

Los Alamos County, working in cooperation with the New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Department, will host a special COVID-19 vaccine clinic Jan. 30-31 at the senior centers in Los Alamos and White Rock.

In order to qualify for this clinic, participants must:

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials announced this afternoon 997 additional positive tests for COVID-19.
