The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) has updated its daily Rapid Response COVID-19 Watchlist, which includes New Mexico places of employment that have had two or more rapid responses in the last 14 days.
There are currently 174 establishments on the Watchlist as of Dec. 4.

NMDOH Introduces Oral Fluid Tests To Southeast Sites
NMDOH News:
SANTA FE – The Department of Health and Curative are further expanding their COVID-19 testing partnership to include 10 locations in southeast New Mexico.
In addition to the six locations across the state, two sites in southeast New Mexico will now provide the less invasive, oral fluid tests.
The sites are already established under the Public Health Offices and have been providing nasopharyngeal tests to the public since testing began.

SANTA FE – The New Mexico Human Services Department (HSD) was appropriated $5 million from House Bill 1, during the second special session of the New Mexico Legislature last month to provide emergency financial assistance to low income state residents who did not receive a federal coronavirus tax relief economic impact payment.

New Mexico Environment Department Files Emergency Amendment To Require Employers To Disclose Positive COVID-19 Cases To State

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) has adopted a second emergency amendment to state workplace safety laws that requires employers to report positive COVID-19 cases among employees to NMED within four hours of being notified of the case.
This second emergency amendment is necessary as the original emergency amendment expired before a permanent amendment was put in place.
