Licensed Massage Therapist Mandie Gleason and her family have a long history in Santa Fe, the Rio Grande Valley and Los Alamos.

Her great-grandfather was the stone mason who built the stone fireplace in Fuller Lodge and did many additional building projects on the Hill.

Six generations of her family have lived in the family compound her great-grandfather built in Santa Fe on Artist Road, and some still do.

SANTA FE – The Public Education Department (NMPED) announced today three new positive cases of COVID-19 in the last 24-hours, after implementing a rapid response and verifying all pertinent information with the schools and school districts. 

The following new cases were reported:

  • One case at a public school in Bernalillo County. The infected individual is a teacher. The infected individual was last in the school building Aug. 25. All staff members and the parents and guardians of all students in the affected school have been notified of the positive case.

Los Alamos School Board met for a regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020.The meeting was held virtually with over 350 participants in addition to the School Board members.

The meeting began with the swearing in of new Board Member, Melanie Colgan, by the Honorable Judge Elizabeth Allen. They also elected Dawn Jalbert as the School Board Secretary, replacing Julia Baker who resigned from the board to move out of state.
