LORDSBURG — Chairman Elect of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Joaquin Castro led a delegation Tuesday to Antelope Wells Port of Entry and Lordsburg Border Patrol Station to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of Jakelin Amei Rosmery Caal Maquin in U.S. CBP custody.

New Mexico Schools Rewarded For Nutrition Efforts

NMDOH News:

The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) and Public Education Department report 41 public elementary schools in seven New Mexico counties are being awarded a total of $30,500 for their efforts in the Healthier US Schools Challenge (HUSSC) award from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
