At 2:50 p.m. east coast time today, two explosions about 20 seconds apart killed two people and injured dozens more, according to multiple news reports.
The explosions occurred near the finish line at the Boston Marathon where runners and spectators crowded the area.
Most recent reports are calling these explosions a “terrorist attack” and officials have shut down the air space over Boston.

The National Park Service has closed the Alcove House Site at Bandelier National monument due to concerns over the structural stability of the archeological site and exhibit.
