SANTA FE – During the New Mexico Counties (NMC) Board of Directors meeting on Friday, May 3, 2024, in Silver City, the Board elected Gerard Saiz, who is a Valencia County Commissioner, to fill the vacant position on the National Association of Counties (NACo) Board representing New Mexico at the national level.

Commissioner Saiz assumed his responsibilities upon adjournment of the Board meeting.

Heinrich Introduces Bipartisan Bill To Support Education In Rural Communities, Strengthen Educator Workforce
