Doris K. Hughes, 78, passed away at home on Sunday December 2, 2018 in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
 
She was born in January to Luther and Helen Knicley in Cazenovia, New York. She later married Norval Hughes in December 1961.
 
In her more recent years, Doris volunteered at The Lobby Shop at Los Alamos Medical Center. On any given Tuesday or Friday you could find her at the Big Rock Bowling Alley in Espanola, NM where she loved to bowl and compete with her teammates. Her other hobbies included crocheting, reading, time with friends and tending to her plants.

Dorothy Mae Crawford, longtime Los Alamos resident, passed suddenly on Tuesday, November 27.

Dorothy was born in the small farming community of Casey, Illinois and received her R.N. in Nursing from Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. She moved to Colorado and attained a B.S. in Nursing from the University of Colorado in 1959.

It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Eero Arnold Hakkila, known affectionately as “Arnie” to his friends and family, announce his passing on November 10, 2018 at age 87 after a battle with cancer. He died lovingly surrounded by his family.
