Constance Mary Cobb was born March 11, 1943, in Rockford, Illinois to Norman and Geraldine Olson.

Constance (known to everyone as Connie) married Donald Cobb (Don) on August 3, 1963. They moved to Los Alamos from Iowa City, Iowa, with their two-year-old daughter Paula, arriving on July 22, 1970.
