By the power of the moon and mysterious mischief… we summon … HOCUS! This three-month-old tuxedo kitten will enchant you as the next love in your life! With her little black coat, dashing white bib, eyes that sparkle with magic, and that cackling grin, she’s ready to cast a spell on your heart.
Hocus is looking for a cozy home where she can practice her charms, nap in sunny spots, and transform every ordinary moment into a little bit of magic. We are open to walk-in adopters Monday-Saturday 11am-4:30pm and Hocus goes home spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped for an adoption fee of $25. Española

Rio! Like his name, this pup flows with joy and energy! Black-and-white and cute all over, 7-month-old 43lb Rio is currently making waves in our 8-week 24/7 Paws in the Pen training program at the Penitentiary of New Mexico. This river of sweetness is as smart as they come—he learns fast, has some of the best leash skills we’ve seen in ages, and loves showing off his “middle” move (sliding right between your legs with a proud grin). He’s all in for playtime too: Rio will plop toys on your lap, flash a smile and a rear-to-ear wiggly wag, and invite you into a game of tug. He’s even part water dog—happy to splash
It’s a bird, it’s a plane…nope, it’s CHICA! This one-year-old, 62lb firecracker is a whirlwind of sunshine wrapped in fur. Her grand entrance? Let’s just say her humans didn’t stick around—they dumped her in our yard while we were open and scaled the fence like reverse burglars. Their loss! Chica is pure joy in motion: every walk a whirlwind adventure, every moment a treasure map, every game a festival of fun. Bold, fearless, endlessly curious—she needs a home where her playground is secure, her heart is free, and her escapades are safely supervised.
PET News:

Winston is a true unicorn in dog form. This one-and-a-half-year-old 56lb Husky mix has heterochromia, a rare condition that gives him one amber eye and one icy blue. It’s as if he’s carrying two skies inside him: one lit with golden sunset, the other cool as a mountain morning. Beyond his magical looks, Winston is sweet, social, and wonderfully well-mannered, which he has shown off at adoption events. He walks beautifully on leash, knows his commands, and loves both people and pups. Rare as a unicorn, real as your new best friend!
