GOP New Mexico Pre-Primary Convention Closes Today

Several candidates at today’s GOP Pre-Primary Convention at the Crowne Plaza in Albuquerque were assured top spots on the ballot for the June Primary election.

Longtime local and state Republican Party leader JoAnn Johnson was a delegate at today’s convention.

The Los Alamos Republican Party elected new officers during its monthly meeting this evening at the Best Western Hilltop House Hotel.

Jordan Redmond was elected chair of the Los Alamos Republican Party, replacing Ron Dolin who resigned last month after serving nearly three terms.

Bill McKerley was elected 1st vice chair, filling the vacancy created when Redmond became chair.

Joe Archuleta remains 2nd vice chair.

Norma Tech continues to serve as treasurer and Mike Weaver as secretary.
