Moratorium For Furloughed Utility Customers In Los Alamos

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities (DPU) is prepared to help ease the burden of utility expenses for furloughed federal employees during the federal government shutdown.

“While we can’t reduce or cancel out billings, we can work with our customers who have been furloughed to ensure their utility services remain on while they aren’t collecting paychecks,” said Deputy Utility anager Joann Gentry.

Nuclear weapons systems are very complex and even the most sophisticated numerical simulations being used to model them cannot allow for every complexity.
