All boys and girls ages 9 to 14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship.
 
The local competition is 1-3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 29, at LAHS Griffith Gymnasium. Registration is free of charge and will be held onsite beginning at 12:30 p.m., on the date of the event.

When temperatures drop at this time of the year, we become more aware of the homeless in our New Mexico communities when the risk of hypothermia joins the long list of other challenges they face.
