Thanks For Supporting Española Pathways Shelter Drive

COMMUNITY News:

The Los Alamos Jewish Center and Los Alamos Unitarian Church would like to thank the community for its recent support of the Española Pathways Shelter.

Community members contributed to the March drive about 30 boxes of the goods requested by the Shelter, including blankets, jackets, socks, underwear, personal hygiene products and laundry detergent.

In addition, the community contributed almost $550 in cash donations to the Shelter.

Twenty four years after it was produced in the year 2000 with a small budget from several foundation and private grants, a one-hour video of interviews of New Mexico survivors of the Holocaust is being released worldwide, with a new introduction and with the benefit of internet viewing and download.

Community Invited To Easter Sunrise Service At Ashley Pond

The public is welcome to join in the annual Easter Sunrise Service 6:30 a.m. Sunday, March 31 at Ashley Pond Park, near the Justice Center.

The service will be led by ministers and leaders from the Christian Church, First United Methodist Church of Los Alamos, Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church and The United Church of Los Alamos.
