The next meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled for Nov. 7 in the Council Chambers of the City of Española, 405 N. Paseo de Oñate.

RIO RANCHO—New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services Secretary Timothy Hale is scheduled to be among the dignitaries officially welcoming the New Mexico arrival of The Moving Wall, a traveling half-sized replica of the National Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Wall, at a special ceremony at 10 a.m., Oct. 18 at the Rio Rancho Sports Complex, 3501 High Resort Blvd.

AMBER Alert Issued For New Mexico Ranch Boys

An Amber Alert has been issued for nine boys who went missing overnight from the Tierra Blanca Youth Ranch in Sierra County New Mexico.

It is believed that these boys are in danger due to the circumstances involving this abduction. Reports indicate that this southern New Mexico ranch program for troubled teens is under a state investigation into allegations that ranch residents were shackled and beaten by staff members.
