Coronado Historic Site will host a concert with New Mexico favorites, Lone Piñon, as they perform traditional New Mexican music 2-4 p.m. Sunday, July 14.
Lone Piñon is a collective of four expert musicians who travel the country and world performing their collaborative interpretation of the New Mexico musical traditions they have learned from elder culture-bearers.
They will take the audience on a musical journey through the New Mexican musical landscape—through several centuries of bailes, wedding parties, fandangos, and fiestas that have shaped the state’s musical inheritance. Read More

SANTA FE — The Santa Fe Opera announces soprano and Apprentice singer Rachel Fitzgerald will make her Santa Fe Opera debut in the role of Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with performances on June 29, July 5 and July 10. The originally scheduled soprano Teresa Perrotta has withdrawn for personal reasons. The casting for the role in the remaining performances will be announced at a later date.

Free West Coast Swing Dancing And Lessons At Betty Ehart Senior Center Starting Monday July 1
Every Monday (except County holidays) from 7-9 p.m. everyone is welcome to free ballroom dancing and lessons at the Betty Ehart Senior Center Center. Auditions for Beowulf (and the Bard), Los Alamos Little Theater’s fall production, begin tonight, June 28.
The play, written by Vidas Barzdukas and Christopher R. Bartlett, is a fun, frenetic and freewheeling farce that updates the Old English poem about the warrior Beowulf, who must rescue the mead hall from a hideous ogre (and his even more hideous mother).

AtomiComedy returns to Los Alamos Saturday, June 29, thanks to the efforts of a crack legal team who got the restraining order lifted just in time.
The show is hosted by Muy Salsas at 1315 Trinity Dr. and tickets are $10, available at the door. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. Or come early and have dinner before the show (kitchen closes at 6:30 p.m.)
