October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and several children gathered today to paint the White Rock rock to draw attention to this important issue. Los Alamos Symphony Orchestra welcomes guest conductor William Waag to the podium for the opening concert of its 2023-24 season at 7 p.m. Oct. 7, at Crossroads Bible Church.
Following the concert, a reception will be provided in the lobby.
The program Waag has chosen for this concert begins with the Overture to Nabucco, the work that solidified Giuseppe Verdi’s career as an opera composer in 1842.
