SANTA FE — Amber Dodson, the New Mexico State Film Office (NMFO) Director, announced today that the pilot, “Post 1776” will film at the end of June in and around Albuquerque.

Mesa Public Library is hosting an art exhibit titled Artomicon in the Step Up Gallery at Mesa Public Library in Los Alamos in conjunction with Atomicon, the library system’s popular new annual event celebrating comics, fandom, science-fiction, fantasy, board games and more.
In 2023 Atomicon is scheduled for Aug. 5 at Mesa Public Library and Fuller Lodge in Los Alamos. The art exhibit will run July 13 to Aug. 5 in Step Up Gallery on the third floor of Mesa Public Library. Artists with a comic spark inside them are invited to submit art to this non-juried show by July 1.

Little Studio On The Mesa To Hold Summer Solstice Event

Little Studio on the Mesa will host an all day Art-a-Thon Wednesday, June 21.
On the summer solstice, owner Joanne Kozuchowski will be open from sunrise to sunset: 5:49 to 8:25 p.m.
Aside from the usual offerings of paint your own pottery and fused glass, other project ideas will be provided including papercrafting, canvas painting, perler bead crafts, watercolors and felt magnets.
Everyone is invited to stop in during the day and create something! Shelves are due to be restocked with a new order of ceramics to paint.
